Mia von Maintal is a beautiful 5-6 year old plush coated German Shepherd. Mia is a special girl with the sweetest soul who wants nothing more than to crawl into your lap and melt in your arms. She has a lovely, calmer energy and has done well with everyone she has met, including other dogs and even cats. In playgroups, she is comfortable and social, happy to share attention with others. A dream on leash, she walks easily in a heel position and is polite on pack walks and in doggy playgroups. While she is fine in playgroup with other dogs, her true loyalty lies with her people. Whether as a loving family dog or a calm, affectionate companion for someone living on their own, Mia will bring gentle love and companionship to her forever home. We saw her come alive when a big chaotic family with kids of all ages descended on the rescue. She was so in her element, tail wagging, gently greeting each child. Whatever comes her way, Mia will be so grateful. You have to meet her to really understand how she touches everyone she meets.
